All Uni Sapon products have been carefully developed and fulfil all the requirements that are posed to cleaning agents regarding the environment.

Where possible, we use for the basis naturally pure plant-soap which are produced from sunflower and soy oils. It is the most easily degradable tenside, since it forms lime soap after use with the calcium that is in the water. This is then completely broken down by the micro organisms which live in the water, being transformed into CO2 and H2O.
Further substances are used for cleaning including coconut and sugar surfactants. They are produced as coconut oil as well as corn starch, whereby a part of the end-products are transformed in a biological process. However, the inner molecular structure remains unaffected, thereby making them easily recognisable to micro organisms and allowing them to be fully bio-degraded.
All of these active cleaning substances are mild and particularly gentle on the skin, which is why they are usually found in baby shampoos.

Uni Sapon’s products obtain their characteristic fragrance and their unmistakable colour from the addition of essential oils. Our decades of experience in the field of aromatherapy guarantees that only oils of impeccable quality are used. As the name Orange Power itself suggests, orange peel oil is applied instead of the more commonly used orange terpene which is usually found in the so-called “orange cleaners”. This oil acts not only as a fragrance but due to its concentration (often 15% or more) strengthens cleaning power significantly. A further aspect which speaks for orange peel oil is its positive influence on the human nervous system. The dulcet fragrance activates the pineal gland and causes increased production of melatonin of the brain. This significantly improves the mood and makes cleaning considerably easier to carry out.

Uni Sapon stands, as the name suggests, for “universal soap” which means that there is not a separate product for every individual stain. According to Procura+ criteria for cleaning products (EU- environmental labelling, Austrian ecolabel), a slim and therefore environmentally aware product assortment should consist of no more than 15 product types. Uni Sapon counts with its 8 (!) cleaning products to one of the few manufacturers of eco-cleaning agents, which fulfil these criteria.
Further, Uni Sapon products are concentrates, which should be diluted by customers themselves. Franz Reichert’s philosophy says that since each of us has water at home, it is out of the question to effectively sell water to the customer at inflated prices. In this way, the unnecessary production of rubbish is avoided, which itself is an active contribution to the environment. When the cleaners are diluted as recommended, your pocket shall also benefit!
